Just finished this podcast, (another great one guys!!) one thing I think you missed is the ‘thanks’. I review a lot of work from our designers, and a little thanks goes a long way. As designers we are used to clients asking for the colour to be changed because they just don’t like ‘that blue’, so starting the critique with a little ‘thanks guys, this looks great’ puts the designer in a good place and ready to take on board the feedback in a more positive way.
That’s so true! I know I’m super guilty of not saying “Thanks” enough times… 😛
